I love my longboard, and my mountain board. In fact, my mountain board was the first thing I ever purchased with my own paycheck. I fell in love with it, but havent used it for quite some time. Health issues have prevented me from really enjoying it the way that I used to, but I miss riding so much. With advances in technology that just werent available when I was younger, I can transform it into something I can ride again! This project is really special to me. Not only am I learning to live with a disability, but I can rediscover the love that I have for riding. And I couldnt be more excited! This project will take quite a while to complete, in part because I have never done something like this before, and because I am a college student I dont have a lot of disposable income. So updates on this particular project may be exceptionally slow, but dont let that stop you from trying it yourself! As always, the resources and materials I use will be posted here so that you can follow along and build one yourself! For a lot of this project I used a youtube playlist tutorial because I had no idea where to start or what to do.
