This is my Arch Chan inspired outfit! Its a work in progress at the moment, but I am really excited aobut it! There are a few sources of inspiration for it! The first is Belle from Zenless Zone Zero! I dont really like gocha games, but Belle's outfit is really cute! The second is obviously Arch Chan! Arch Linux is my favorite distro, and I really want to have something to showcase just how special it is to me! So that is were this project was born! Below are some reference pictures that I used for my project! Of course you can follow along and take a look at my process, grab my files, and make it for yourself! I'll have all of that posted here as well! I hope you have fun if you do try it, and if not I hope you like the results!
These are the Arch Chan references I used. I wanted to be able to see both the placement of the graphics and how they were supposed to sit on the clothing. It took a little bit of guess work to figure out, but I think the results are great. Instead of using a jacket for this project like Arch Chan wears, I am using a vest, similar to what Belle wears. So instead of the Arch and Tux graphics being on the sleeve of the jacket, they are on the sleeves of the shirt. The link for the shirt is below! But you can place your graphics where ever you want! The choice is up to you and I encourage creativity! s
Belle was the second source of inspiration! I played the game for about an hour and really enjoyed her design! I think her character design inspired me more than Arch Chan did, or at least added a bit more direction to the projet than Arch Chan did. Playing the game for the first hour was what really solidified what I was aiming for!
I needed to do some 3D modeling to get some of the items that Belle has. Primarily her hair clip. I like that its large and eye catching, but since this is an Arch themed outift, I needed a 3D Arch logo. With some help from my amazing mom, I was able to 3D print it on my FDM printer. My mom created the 3D model in blender, but I upscaled it to make it work, and extruded it a bit so that it would be the right size and thickness. I tried 3 different versions of it, each at different scales. But I think that the second size was the best outcome. I ordered a package of 70 flat aligator hair clips on Amazon and glued the 3D print to one. And that completes the hair clip! Easy peasy!

The color code for Arch's curisosity blue is #1793d1 and finding paint was pretty easy! The link the paint I used is here! This is a one off batch, so it is kind of expensive, but if you want an accurate color this is how to get it! That said, any blue close to this would work, and you can pick that up at any hardware store on amazon for a LOT cheaper, so there are options!
Flat aligator hair clips: It cost a total of $6.00 including tax USD.
Blue Vest: if you want it to look like Belle's Vest, order it 1-2 sizes too large so that it hangs down correctly.
Skirt: Instead of the grey skir that Belle wears, I opted for a blue skirt to match the Arch Linux theme.
Shirt: shirt. I had a choice with this one, but after studying Belle's model, I decided a relaxed fit was better than a fitted shirt.
Blue Crew Socks: are pretty in line with Belle's uneven styel, I liked these in particular because they dont have a visable texture which I think fits the model better.
Stockings: I picked these. Belle wears these on one leg, and I want to replicate that look. But since everything comes in pairs, you can choose to mix and match or not! Its up to you, and later I will be showing you how I created the graphic on the side of the stocking like Belle has. Just replicate this process on the other side and you can have a matching set!
